What this night is

Country went electronic.
We built a room for it.

Boots & 808s is not a country night with a DJ, and it is not an EDM show with a cowboy hat on the flyer. It is one set that runs both the whole way through. If you know the words, you will hear them. If you came for the drop, it is coming.

Side A

The country in it

The songs you already know, cut for a dance floor. Modern country hooks, the crossover tracks that have been taking over festival sets, and enough room to two step if that is what you came to do.

No lesson, no choreography, no one telling you where to stand.

Side B

The 808s under it

Low end you feel before you hear. The JBL line array in this room was specified for exactly this, and we do not run it quiet.

Remixes, edits, and bass that turns a line dance into a rave without ever losing the melody.

Music by

DJ Sarah G

Sarah G is a Michigan DJ and she runs the full night. One set, start to finish, built around the point where country and bass music meet.

No opener, no changeover, no dead twenty minutes while someone swaps gear. The room stays moving from doors until close.

The room

Built for this, not adapted for it

Diamondback is a historic building with a modern rig inside it. The production here is the reason this night works.

360° Projection mapping across the walls. The room changes with the set.
JBL Line array tuned for low end. Clear at the back, heavy at the front.
Full rig Moving lights and haze run live to the music, not on a loop.
11,000 Square feet, and still close enough that every seat feels like front row.

Outside

There is a heated patio

Mid October in Michigan does not have to end the night early. The patio is outdoors and heated, so you can step out of the bass, get some air and actually hear the person next to you without freezing.

Heated Open in October and still comfortable when the sun is long gone.
Outdoors Real air, and quiet enough to have a conversation.
The bull The mechanical bull lives out here and runs all night.
Steps away Straight off the main floor, so you never miss the drop.
Rider hanging on to the mechanical bull on the heated patio at Diamondback Music Hall

Out on the patio

There is a
mechanical bull

It lives outside on the heated patio and it runs all night. Get on, hold on, and find out how long you last in front of a patio full of people who are filming.

Boots will not help you. Nothing helps.

Questions

Everything else

How does the free entry actually work
Go to the ticket page and pick the RSVP ticket. It is $0 with no fees, limited to one per person, and the first 100 are the only ones. You get an eTicket on your phone exactly like a paid one. Once all 100 are claimed the option disappears and general admission is the way in.
Do I need to know how to line dance
No. This is not a lesson night. There is no choreography and nobody is going to put you on the spot. If you want the beginner lesson format, that is our Wednesday night line dancing. Looking for something seated instead, Tom Arnold plays here on December 6.
Is it really 18 and over
Yes. Bring a valid ID. Anyone who cannot show ID proving they are 18 or over will not get in and will not be refunded. If you are 21 and over you can drink and you get marked at the door.
What kind of music is it exactly
Country and EDM in the same set. Think country vocals over festival production, remixes of songs you already know, and straight bass music in between.
What do tickets cost
General admission is $10 plus fees, which comes to $14.38 all in. The first 100 RSVP tickets are free with no fees at all. VIP tables and booths are $20 per person. Everything is on the same ticket page.
Is there food
Full kitchen and full bar, open through the night.
Is there a dress code
No. Boots, sneakers, hats, whatever you want. We are not turning anyone away over an outfit.
Can I reserve a table or a booth
Yes. VIP is $20 per person on the ticket page. A table of 4 or a top-tier booth for 6 on the upper tiers, the 11:11 suite for 12 or the Diamond suite for 20 stage side. Bottle service on top. Call 734-589-1111 if you want a hand setting it up.
What time should I get there
Doors are at 9. The room fills through the first hour, so before 10 if you want space near the front and a spot to put your drink down.
Is there an ATM
Yes, on site. The bar takes cards as well.
How far is it from Detroit or Ann Arbor
About 30 minutes from downtown Detroit, 22 from Ann Arbor, 12 from Ypsilanti and 10 from Detroit Metro Airport. Free parking on site.
What is country EDM
Country songs and vocals built into electronic production. Think the hooks you already know over festival drums and bass. It has been taking over country festival sets for a couple of years and this night is built entirely around it.
Where do I park
On site and free. The lot is right off the I-94 service drive.
